About Assyrian Church of the East
A church descended from the ancient Church of the East, which once spread missions across Persia, India, Central Asia, and China. The Xian Stele of 781 records its presence in Tang China. Its liturgy is in Syriac. Today most members are Assyrians in Iraq, Iran, Syria, and a large diaspora.
