About Druze

A monotheistic faith that emerged in Fatimid Egypt and draws on Ismaili Islam, Greek philosophy, and other traditions. The Druze believe in reincarnation and keep their scriptures largely private to initiates. Conversion into the faith is not accepted. Communities live mainly in Lebanon, Syria, Israel, and Jordan.
