About Digambara

One of the two main branches of Jainism. Digambara means sky clad, and its most advanced monks renounce clothing entirely as a sign of total non-possession. Digambaras hold that women must be reborn as men to attain liberation. The colossal statue of Bahubali at Shravanabelagola is a major pilgrimage site.
