About Ancient Greek Religion
The religion of the ancient Greeks, centered on the Olympian gods led by Zeus. Worship involved sacrifice, festivals, and oracles such as Delphi. The Olympic Games were held in honor of Zeus. Its myths shaped Western art and literature. It declined after Roman emperors promoted Christianity, and is revived today as Hellenism.
