About Reform Judaism
A movement that began in Germany seeking to adapt Jewish practice to modern life. Reform Jews regard Jewish law as a living tradition open to individual interpretation. It introduced vernacular prayer and later ordained women as rabbis. The largest Jewish denomination in the United States.
